The capital of romance, Paris is an inspiring city. Take a stroll through the narrow streets of picturesque neighbourhoods such as the Marais, the Latin Quarter and Montmartre, or visit the Sacré-Cœur, the basilica that towers above the city’s rooftops. The Eiffel Tower, an iconic structure on the left bank of Seine, needs no introduction. Nor does the Champs Elysee, which attracts tourists from the world over. But Paris is also bistros, street musicians, the Louvre, and an array of bourgeois, bohemian and working-class neighbourhoods, each with something to offer.
